Free Product Decision Review

A focused review of how clearly your website supports product decisions.

Free. No obligation to continue into paid work.

You receive one finding supported by what I checked—or an explanation that no clear issue was established within the review's scope. I show the evidence, explain the limits, and say whether a closer review appears worthwhile.

01

Who it's for

For websites with real product-selection complexity.

A good fit may have:

Fit is not assumed — determining it is part of what a Review is for.

02

Review scope

Five areas of review.

The Review is limited to public pages and the five areas above. It explains the findings and their limits; it does not examine private business data.

03

What a review looks like

What evidence supports — and where it stops.

A finding explains what was observed and which customer choices it may affect. It also checks whether the website already provides an answer and clarifies what remains unknown.

Evidence

The public product experience itself: pages showing the product range, individual product pages, buying guides, common customer questions and comparison tools — read as a customer would encounter them.

Observation

In one product line, the differences that drive the choice appear only inside the individual product pages. The page showing the product range lists names and prices.

The customer’s choice

A customer choosing between the three models must reconstruct the comparison across multiple pages — or abandon it and default to price or brand familiarity.

Current experience

No page on the site compares these models on the features that matter for choosing between them.

Existing answers checked

Buying guides, common customer questions, comparison tools and support channels were checked for an existing answer before any conclusion was drawn. None explains how to choose between these models.

What this example can establish

This example uses only information on public pages. It shows that information needed to choose between the products is missing. It does not show how real customers behave. No website visitor data, sales data or customer interviews were used, so the example cannot establish effects on customer choices or business results.

What the evidence supports

Missing information for choosing

Supported by the demonstrated evidence.

Effect on customer choices

Not established by this demonstration.

Effect on business results

Not established.

Demonstration of method — not a client project. What a real Review adds: your actual product line, the same discipline.

The example is illustrative, not a client finding. Conclusions stay within the evidence collected.

04

What you receive

One evidence-backed result — clearly explained.

You receive:

The Review does not include a redesign, a complete set of product documentation, detailed plans for product-selection tools, or a development plan.

05

What happens next

Any further work is a separate conversation. The review stands on its own.

06
